National Rippa Rugby Championship 2017- Wellington

National Rippa Rugby Championships- Wellington.

The National Rippa Rugby Championships are held once a year in Wellington. Were champions of their provinces come together to play 7 minute halves, which all round is 14 Minutes to play 1 game. The Rules were.

• After you get ripped you get 3 steps until you have to pass.
• You are not aloud to stick the Rippa Ribbons on to the attacking player how has passed the ball. You have to hand it back to them.
• You are also not aloud to drop the Rippa Ribbons onto the ground.
• You have to stay 1 metre away from he passing player to intercept the ball.

When we flew out from Hokitika, were we met Olympian Ruby Tui. Then we flew out to Christchurch. At Christchurch Airport we met Aaron Smith & Liam Squire who are both current All Blacks & Highlanders. Then we had to fly out to the capital, Wellington. At Wellington airport we met the main organiser Nua Finau, you may know him from Small Blacks TV.

The next day.

At the Competition we were stunned to see Kendra Kocksedge & Keven Mealamu, who we both gave us signatures on our tops.

Reflection Week 5

Reflection- Numeracy

In numeracy this week we were working on what we didn't get right in our diagnostic testing on maths buddy.  I chose to work on equivalent fractions. Next time I could take my time and work slowly. I hope you like what I learnt.

Literacy.
This week in literacy we have been discussing endangered animals. We then had to reflect on the statements on this anticipation chart before we read the text. This is mine. Next time I could explain endangered animals better.  Have a read of the statements and tell me if you disagree or agree.  I will tell you what I find out next week.

Cross Country Reflection T2W5

-CROSS COUNTRY-

This week we had the Grey Main Annual Cross Country. We had to write all about the Cross Country, I came 1st, all because Callum slipped over and I over-took him. We go to the West Coast Cross Country. I wrote this.

4 Days ago was the Annual Grey Main Cross Country. I got 1st but it was neck and neck between Franklin and I, then I pushed, sprinted with the last gas I had. Callum slipped over on the last corner, so I over took him and I ran up the finish line to get 1st. The top 6 go to the West Coast Cross Country. The top 6 were: Me, Franklin, Callum, Oli, Kaleb W, Alex. That is your wrap of the Annual Grey Main Cross Country!

This week we have been finishing our camp reflection. I found it hard writing the first few sentences because I forgot all about it! Next time I could use better words and remember to use my FANBOYS and punctuation. I found it easy when I did my last paragraph because I remembered the rest. We also did our word work for the week. I found it hard doing my origins because I knew nothing about them. Next time I could use better definitions.

Hello viewers.  This is my reflection. This week we chose our own subject to study about in literacy. I found it hard trying to get the official things the Premier League needs. I found it easy getting the founded date. Next time I could put my notes in better words by not using as many ands. This is my coggle notes so far.

This week we had to get to know each other by doing a scrabble making our names and making our score, this is what we came up with. My buddy was Arli, we had to walk around the class asking people for their score.

We also had to make a Venn Diagram about what is different and the same about Arli and I. This is what we made.
