This week at Tech I made a dustpan. We made it out of a sheet of metal. We traced the template onto our sheet and then cut the pieces we didn't need with tin-snips. Then we folded the sides together and pop-riveted the folds. Then I cut a handle and pop-riveted it onto the dustpan. I am proud of making this, next time I would make sure the bottom of the dustpan was even because one part was higher than the other. This is a photo of it.
Hey William!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Chloe I am a year 8 from Yaldhurst Model School.
This blog post is amazing!
I really like how you have done very clear instructions for this, I can understand everything what you have said. Next time you could make a slide and put all of the steps into it?
Which would improve your blog post. It seems like a very cool creation to make whenever you want to. I was just wondering how long did it take you to make it? Everything is great, well done!!
Kind regards
- Chloe
Hey there William,
ReplyDeletemy name is Jedi and I am a year eight in rimu class. I think that this is a pretty awesome post because you have a photo of what you made, what it was for. And the steps on how you made it. About how long did this take you to make?
Currently my friend Chloe and I are making speaker boxes for tech. I am really enjoying it, did you enjoy making this dust-pan? To improve ( I would agree with Chloe), maybe you could have presented this in a more colourful way. Maybe using Piktochart, Canva or like Chloe said; Google slides. That way it would really catch the viewers attention.
I can't wait to see your next post!
